MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- The problems in the U.S. banking system will hardly affect the Russian banking sector, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"Because our banking system is, of course, connected in a certain way with some segments of the international banking system, but is largely under illegal restrictions introduced by the collective West,” Peskov said.
“This is why there is a silver lining, we are to a certain degree protected from the negative effect of the crisis unfolding across the ocean."
